I knew something special was going on when I noticed the official Sweet Tooth Twitter retweeting various accounts that were posting pictures of a mysterious package that said: “Don’t Unwrap until July 29.” Well, here it is the 29th of July and the mystery has been solved in the sweetest way possible: through a chocolate bar announcing that Sweet Tooth has been renewed for a second season!

Fans should be delighted that the story of half human half deer hybrid boy Gus (played by Christian Convery), trying to survive an aplocalypic world, will continue after the first eight episodes which dropped in June. The series was based on characters created by Jeff Lemire for DC/Vertigo comics. A streaming date for season two and other details, have yet to be announced.
